Job Purpose
- To develop EHS management system for all manufacturing plants. Support in implementation of the system across manufacturing.
Responsibilities:

- Actively participate in designing EHS managements system for all manufacturing plants
- Provide strategic inputs to the management for effective EHS processes deployment
- Support the implementation of company standards across plants
- Ensure standardization during implementation across all plants
- Track effectiveness of implementation of the standards and identify the opportunities to improve
- Conduct inspections, Audits at planned frequency and track closure of findings
- Track and Support plant EHS team on legal compliance
- Conduct investigation into incidents and recommend CAPA measures
- Horizontal Deployment of CAPA across plants
- Collate, Consolidate & publish the MIS reports along with leading and lagging performance indicators for the units
- Analise trends, identify opportunities for improvement and implement initiatives based on the same
- Sustain ISO certifications e.g. 45001 and 14001 in the units
Key Competencies Required:
- Hands on experience in Hazardous Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA)
- In depth understanding on safety process & Hazardous energy control process
- Understanding of Electrical, chemical, material handling & machine guarding safety
- Applicable Statutory requirements related to EHS.
- Investigation into incidents & arriving at route cause/s, suggesting remedial measures.
- Framework for effective deployment of Safety management processes.
Qualification & Experience:
- BE (Mech/Elect/Civil) with additional qualification (Degree/diploma) in Industrial safety or NEBOSH (UK)-IGC /Diploma certification
- Preferred diploma in industrial Safety from RLI / CLI or NEBOSH Diploma/IGC or CSP from BCSP
- 17- 20 Years of experience
- Job involves 50% travel to various locations in the country, sometimes at short notice. Quick response in case of incidents in plants
- Executives having worked with Multinational organizations would be preferred
- Executives must have experience working in manufacturing companies, with a strong focus on mechanical components.
- The executive should have a proven track record of managing EHS across multiple sites.
