Job Purpose
Customer Satisfaction:
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
- Address customer concerns and feedback promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to understand and meet customer needs and expectation
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the machining plant to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet targets and customer demands.
- Monitor and optimize machining processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications required by the Oil & Gas sector.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections.
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
Safety and Compliance:
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the plant’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Oversee procurement and maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies to reduce waste and improve workflow.
- Lead initiatives for technological upgrades and innovation.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as BD, Finance and SCM to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers.
- Represent the plant in meetings and negotiations with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience in the Oil and Gas Sector and in areas of having thorough knowledge of VMC, HMC, VTL, CNC, HBM, HNK, 5 Axis machine.
- Candidate shall have knowledge about different Raw Materials, Machining processes, tooling, Manpower handling, OEE Improvement, Gemba kaizen, New product development, Quality Tools, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA.
- Candidate shall have knowledge about Special Processes like HT, Carburizing, forging, leaser cladding, Copper plating, Xylon coating, Floro polymer coating, phosphating
- Familiar with general engineering, assembly drawings, customer specifications, quality plan, operation process sheet & procedures etc.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, testing and assembly sequences.

Qualification
- Graduate in ME / BE – Mech. or Production
- Professional experience: 15 to 25 years of experience in the manufacturing function
- The position is expected to have good experience in machining, 5 axis, WFL & SMX machines
- Experience in the Aerospace Industry would be an advantage.
- Software —AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project, Advance Excel, Planning Software
- Good knowledge of all international codes & standards.
- Working Knowledge of SAP
- Familiar with all ISO/ IMS/ API Procedures and Documentation.
- Age between 35 to 45 years
