Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of operations, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Lead initiatives to implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to streamline supply chain operations and minimize lead times.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the operations and manufacturing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and R&D, to align manufacturing operations with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Prioritize cost-cutting initiatives, given the market’s competitiveness, especially considering the low value but high-volume nature of the product.
- Develop MIS to help company management track engineering performances related to up-times and costs.
- Driving automation & compliance to all regulatory & statutory standard requirements.
- Focus on Training of Skill Development of the Employees and supporting Direct Reports to achieve their KPIs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in manufacturing to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Age between 40 – 50 years
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the manufacturing domain in the packaged food industry
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including automation, quality control, and supply chain management.
