Key roles & responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership of India operations, ensuring alignment with corporate governance, policies, and performance standards
- Lead strategic planning and execution in partnership with global leadership, translating the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) into measurable outcomes
- Own financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Drive commercial growth through effective sales and marketing strategies aligned with regional priorities
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts to ensure visibility and predictability
- Build and strengthen the field sales organization to enhance market coverage and execution effectiveness
- Develop and optimize distributor partnerships, driving channel performance and accountability
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and OEM partners
- Lead operational and supply chain effectiveness, improving cost, quality, lead times, and productivity
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing talent while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork
- Champion organizational values, culture, and operating model
- Apply strong business acumen and analytical judgment in decision-making
- Address business challenges pragmatically with appropriate escalation when required

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mandatory); MBA preferred
- 15+ years of leadership experience in a multinational environment
- Proven P&L responsibility for a business exceeding USD 10 Mn in India
- Global exposure strongly preferred
