Vice President – Corporate Finance

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial strategy and execution of the company’s IPO, including overseeing all financial preparations, regulatory filings, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful public offering.
  • Develop and present comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and valuation reports to support the IPO process.
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic M&A opportunities to drive growth and enhance the company’s market position.
  • Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning for potential acquisitions or mergers.
  • Negotiate deal terms, structure transactions, and work closely with legal and tax advisors to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies for raising capital through equity, debt, and other financial instruments to support business expansion and operational needs.
  • Structure and negotiate terms for new investments, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term financial goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investment banks, and private equity firms to facilitate ongoing fundraising efforts.
  • Lead the development and execution of investment strategies that maximize returns and support the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities, considering risk, return, and alignment with corporate goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all external financial communications, including negotiations, deal structuring, and investor relations
  • Develop and manage the company’s investor relations strategy, ensuring transparent, effective positioning & consistent communication with shareholders and potential investor.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, financial reports, and market analyses to investors and analysts.
  • Oversee the utilization of advanced financial software and analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making and enhance financial reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, both domestic and international, including US GAAP for operations in the US.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulatory environments and proactively adjust internal policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of all required financial reports, disclosures, and filings in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the corporate finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance on complex financial matters, ensuring that the team is equipped with the skills and tools needed to excel in their roles.
  • Promote a collaborative and innovative working environment that aligns with the company’s values and strategic objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 to 18 years of experience in corporate finance, with experience in leading IPOs, M&A, and large-scale fundraising activities is essential.
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of IPO listing requirements, M&A processes, and investment banking.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, global financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, managing external advisors and internal functional teams towards transaction closure.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing finance teams.
  • Adept in advanced analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Bloomberg, Tableau).
